Chancellery rates

Chancellery exchange rates are exchange rates set every fortnight by the French Treasury. They are mainly used to record foreign currency transactions carried out by public accountants, as chancellery rates must be used for public expenditure or any other accounting transaction expressed in foreign currencies. These rates are also likely to be used by many public institutions.

They show the French franc equivalent of foreign currencies. Since 1 January 2002, these rates have been expressed in euros.
